Abstract: Zero temperature measures are the limit of the equilibruim measures µ_{1/T φ} → µ_∞φ as T → 0, where φ: M → R be the potential. These measures are of special interest in statistical physics and they have a natural connection with ergodic optimizations. In this talk, we will investigate the zero temperature measures of the local constant potentials for shift maps.
