3rd Student Clubs Exhibition Inspirited the Campus

Peking University, Beijing, Nov 9, 2009: on Nov 7, the 3rd “Student Clubs Exhibition,” organized by Extracurricular Activities Guidance Center, was held at the square of PKU Hall.

 

Clubs such as Art of Speech Association, Violin Club, Clothing and Cultural Exchange Association, English Cultural Exchange Association, Hip-Hop Club, Jing Wu Martial Arts Club, and the Roller Skating Club, gave wonderful performances at the square, winning great applause of the audience present.

 

Meanwhile, many other student clubs also staged various kinds of interaction activities around the Triangular Area to promote their own cultures. By participating in these activities, students were able to feel the charm of Peking University’s diversified cultures of student clubs.

 

According to the organizer, the Extracurricular Activities Guidance Center, the variety of extracurricular activities of student clubs has been one of the features of the “Second Classroom” in PKU. By joining student clubs, students are able to increase their knowledge on other subjects and improve their all-around abilities. As an important part of cultural life on campus, the annual Student Clubs Exhibition is warmly welcomed by the on campus communities and plays a significant role in optimizing club resources, displaying and promoting the University spirit.
