Peking University, May 10, 2012：On the evening of May 4th, the national college students’ theatrical festival May Flowers was put on the stage of CCTV first studio. 40 students from PKU participated in the performance The Land, and Fu duyangxi from Law School led the poetry recitation Flag.
This evening gala was jointly hosted by the Propaganda Department of CPC century committee, the Ministry of Education and the Communist Youth League, with over 2500 students from nearly 100 Chinese colleges contributing to the performance. The evening gala intended to celebrate Chinese Youth Day and show reverence to the 90th anniversary of the Communist Youth League.
PKU vice party secretary Ao Yingfang visited the students
The land was presented to the audience by students from PKU, as well as Tsinghua University, Renmin University and Beijing Normal University. The students well illustrated the spirit of contemporary youths, and their extraordinary performance won warm response from the audience.
