Combining with the inspiring stories of outstanding females around her, Professor Yuan shared with the audience her personal experiences about her college years, teaching career, active involvement in social affairs and oversea communication.

During the Q&A session, students expressed their puzzles about the life planning of college girls, the social role and value of females and the balance between family and work.

Female education has also shown its great importance and urgency,” Professor Ye Jingyi, vice chairman of Peking University Council, commented in the ceremony. She also spoke highly of the association’s effort made for PKU girls to achieve self-development and social value. “As a member of the female group in Beida, I will keep track of the development of this organization,” said Ye, “I sincerely wish you students can make it bloom.”
