PKU Student wins ACM China Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award

Peking University, Oct 24, 2015：On October 21st,American ACM ( Association for Computing Machinery ) hold its ACM China Awarding Ceremony in Wuxi, during which the second session of Chinese Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award was promulgated.
Wang Shuo, a 2015 doctoral graduate student from PKU Institute of Information Science and Technology, together with Zhang Lan, a student from Software Institute of Tsinghua University shared this great honor.
ACM China Awarding Ceremony
ACM is the biggest professional academic organization in worldly computer field, of which the Award in China aims at praising excellent doctoral dissertations in recognition of Chinese academic institutions on aspects of research work and academic performance. Each year, one or two dissertations are selected out to be promulgated on ACM annual Chinese Meeting.
