Peking University, Dec.10, 2015: On Dec 4, 2015-2016 China University Marathon Series and PKU Winter Running were held at Peking University. The race was organized by Federation of University Sports of China, co-organized by the Branch of Track and Field, and hosted by Department of Physical Education of PKU. Gao Song, vice president of Peking University and other guests fired the starting gun.

All Participants, wearing T-shirt in “Beida Red,” were divided into male student group, female student group and staff group (including alumni). After warming up, they started their marathon from Wu-si Sports Center, via No.1 Gymnasium, Weiming Lake, Boya Tower, Shaoyuan, No.2 Gymnasium, PKU Hall, Student Center and then got back to the starting point. The participant who can finish the 3-kilometer Marathon within half hour will get a memorial medal.

PKU Winter Running is the opening race for 2015-2016 China University Marathon Series, followed by other races in more than one hundred universities and institutions including South China University of Technology, Southeast University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xiamen University, Zhejiang University, etc. The final game will be held in Tsinghua University in June 2016.
