Peking University, April. 13, 2019: With the internationalization of Peking University, more and more exchange programs are provided to enrich students’ school life. The Education Abroad Program (EAP) of PKU Office of International Relations is pooling educational resources to build a platform for PKU students to choose long-term and short-term exchange programs during academic years.
PKU Office of International Relations will provide 6 million RMB to support Education Abroad Program, which includes but is not limited to semester exchange, summer school, internship, innovation project, etc. The establishment of EAP Fund will provide great support for students who want to participate in international exchange programs.
Currently, PKU EAP includes more than 150 programs, among which the short-term programs have become the most welcomed ones concerning their flexibility. The duration of the short-term programs ranges from 2 to 8 weeks. Their activities include course study, scientific research, language study, internship, cultural experience tour, international conference, etc. By now, the number of EAP's yearly participants has reached over 600.
In coordination with Graduate School, Office of Student Financial Aid, School of Economics, and School of Foreign Languages, Office of International Relations has organized several new summer programs in 2019.
