National Day celebrations evoke warm responses at Peking University

Peking University, Oct 8, 2019: On the morning of October 1, a grand gathering to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China was held. PKU students gathered together to watch the parade and celebrate the National Day.

Inspired by President Xi Jinping’s speech at the rally, students showed great confidence in the bright future of China, as well as the development in education. Students felt proud as Chinese, and also realized their responsibility as builders of the future. After the live broadcast, students discussed the grand event with excitement.
