Peking University holds a conference on recent work plans

Peking University, April 16, 2020: On April 2, Peking University held a video conference on recent work plans. The online meeting was attended by Peking University Council Chair Qiu Shuiping and President Hao Ping.
At the video conference
Qiu talked about Peking University’s recent work plans amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The prevention and control of the pandemic are top priorities. The University must continue to fight against this pandemic. Qiu said that the university should spare no efforts to support final year students. Concerning teaching work, Qiu hoped the quality of online education should continue to improve and called on the application of interdisciplinary expertise to tackle the COVID-19 outbreak.
Hao Ping praised departments and schools of Peking University for their contributions to the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak, encouraging them to summarize experience and carry out recent work plans.
