PKU's two research projects on ecological environment honored top 10 progress

Peking University, June 3, 2020: On May 30, China’s National Science and Technology Workers' day, China Association for Science and Technology announced China’s top 10 progress of research on ecological environment in 2019. Two research projects carried out by the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering of Peking University were on the list:
1. Professor Song Yu and Professor Zhu Tong’s research on the rationale for accurate ammonia emission abatement strategies in different regions of China
2. Professor Zhang Yuanhang and his team’s significant research progress in tackling air pollution
This is the first time that China has released such a list in the field of ecology. It is intended to encourage scientists to step up efforts in scientific and technological innovation, thereby providing significant support for China’s environment protection.
