Peking University, Mar 25, 2012: On the afternoon of March 25, Rodney Erickson, President of Pennsylvania State University and the Provost Michael Adewumi and their delegation visited Peking University(PKU). They were welcomed by PKU President Zhou Qifeng at his President Office.

The Pennsylvania State University is an excellent public university in the United States. The university is particularly famous for its industrial engineering, education, mathematics and information and so on. In May, 2011, the Pennsylvania State University held some academic exchanges and series of academic symposiums at PKU. The Recently signed agreement between the two to establish joint teaching centre and informatics research centre further promoted corporation.

This visit was Professor Erickson’s second visit to PKU as President of Pennsylvania State University. In his first visit in November 2011, President Zhou Qifeng also welcomed his delegation and expressed his wish that the two universities could have the opportunity to deepen the international cooperation on the basis of the good relationship.
