President of Sciences Po visits Peking University

Peking University, April 22, 2019: Frédéric Mion, president of Sciences Po, visited Peking University on April 17. PKU President Hao Ping and PKU Vice President Tian Gang met with him at Linhuxuan, and signed the agreement on bilateral student exchange programs.

Hao Ping welcomed the guests, pointing out that Sciences Po enjoys a global reputation in humanities and social sciences. PKU would like to further the cooperation with Sciences Po and to create more opportunities for mutual exchanges, especially in the fields of international organization, global governance, humanities and social sciences.
Mion, in return, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome. He pointed out that the cooperation between the two universities in dual-degree programs and student exchanges had achieved good results. Besides, Sciences Po trusted PKU as its strategic partner and hoped to carry out cooperation in the spheres of international organization and international public policy in the future.
After the meeting, Tian Gang, together with representatives from relevant departments of PKU and Office of International Relations discussed the further details of the dual-degree program of International Studies and the “3+2” program.
